Implant Crowns
An implant crown consists of two parts, the base structure, a titanium screw or post, and the tooth-shaped covering called a crown. As an implant dentist in Gastonia, Dr. Miller oversees the implantation process and performs the restorative work of placing the permanent crown.
When more conservative methods of restoration are not an option, Dr. Miller uses implant crowns, also referred to as implant dentistry. Implants are one method of replacing missing teeth or stabilizing an ill-fitting or loose denture with teeth that look and perform like natural ones. This method is non-invasive to the adjacent, healthy teeth. Replacing missing teeth with implants prevents painful shifting in the mouth, malocclusions and uneven wear on remaining teeth.
If you would like to schedule a consultation about implant dentistry with Dr. Miller, or have questions and concerns about our services, we would be glad to assist you in any way. Contact the Gastonia dental office at (704) 864-2608 or request an appointment online.
